Car prices have dropped to a quarter of their value after customs cuts, making the dream of owning a car available in the war-torn country, in addition to a huge influx of modern cars through border crossings from Jordan and Turkey, the State news agency reported on Wednesday.
The ousted regime had always considered cars a luxury and imposed a tax of up to 400%.
